GuessMoji ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected when you use the GuessMoji app ("the App") and how that information is used. Please read this policy carefully before using the App.
1. Information We Collect
Game data stored locally: Your puzzle progress, coin balance, streak count, lives, settings, and completed levels are stored locally on your device using device storage. This data does not leave your device unless explicitly synced via iCloud.
Device and usage information: Third-party services integrated in the App (such as advertising and crash reporting tools) may automatically collect certain device and usage data, including device type, operating system version, IP address, app version, and general usage patterns.
Information you provide: The App does not require you to create an account or provide personal information such as your name or email address to use core features.
2. Advertising Data
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as IDFA or IDFV), IP address, and usage data for the purpose of serving ads, including personalised ads based on your interests.
When you first open the App, you will be shown an App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. If you choose "Allow Tracking," ads may be personalised using your device's advertising identifier. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track," only non-personalised ads will be shown.
You can change your tracking preference at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your iOS device.
Users who purchase the "Remove Ads" in-app purchase will no longer be shown advertisements.

3. In-App Purchases
All in-app purchases are processed by Apple via StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Purchase receipts and transaction records are managed by Apple. For more information, see Apple's Privacy Policy.
4. Crash Reports and Analytics
The App may use crash reporting tools to collect anonymous diagnostic data when the App crashes or encounters errors. This data is used solely to identify and fix technical issues and improve App stability. It does not include personally identifiable information.
5. Push Notifications
If you enable daily reminders, the App will request permission to send you push notifications. Notification tokens used to deliver push notifications are processed on your device and are not used to identify you personally. You can disable notifications at any time in your device's Settings.
6. iCloud Sync
If you have iCloud enabled on your device, your game progress may be synced across your devices using Apple's iCloud service. This sync is governed by Apple's iCloud Terms and Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is rated 4+ and is intended for a general audience including children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at [email protected] and we will take appropriate steps to remove that information.
8. Data Retention
Game data stored locally on your device is retained until you delete the App or clear the App's data from your device settings. Deleting the App removes all locally stored game data. Data held by third-party services (such as AdMob) is subject to their respective retention policies.
9. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information processed by the App. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Choices
- Tracking: You can opt out of ad tracking at any time via iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
- Notifications: You can disable push notifications at any time via iOS Settings → Notifications → GuessMoji
- iCloud: You can disable iCloud sync in iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud
- Delete data: Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data
- Remove Ads: Purchase the "Remove Ads" in-app purchase to stop all advertising
11. Third-Party Services
The App integrates the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:

- Apple iCloud — apple.com/legal/privacy
12. International Users
The App is available internationally. If you use the App outside your home country, your information may be processed in countries where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using the App, you consent to this processing.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
